🔥 ADVENTURE NEEDS ADULTS! 🔥

1st Arlesey Scout Group is growing — and we need more volunteers to help make it happen.

From Beavers (and soon Squirrels) all the way through to Explorers, we’re giving local young people opportunities to build confidence, make friends, learn life skills, and have amazing adventures… but we urgently need more adults to join the team.

We currently run:
🟠 Beavers
🟡 Cubs
🟢 Scouts
🔵 Explorer Scouts
…and we’re hoping to OPEN a brand new Squirrel Drey too! 🐿️
But none of this is possible without volunteers.

Before you scroll past — you do NOT need previous Scouting experience. Honestly. No knot-tying exams. No wilderness survival skills required 🌲

What we do need are friendly people willing to help local young people thrive.

Volunteering with Scouts is:
✅ Fun
✅ Flexible
✅ Fully supported
✅ Great for confidence and skills
✅ A brilliant way to meet people locally
✅ Something that genuinely makes a difference

Full training is provided FREE, and there are loads of ways to help:
🎯 Running games and activities
🏕 Helping on camps and trips
🎨 Crafts and badge work
📋 Admin and planning
☕ Behind-the-scenes support
🙌 Occasional helping hands

You can volunteer weekly, monthly, occasionally, or behind the scenes — every bit helps.

Without new volunteers, we may have to reduce spaces or future opportunities for local children and young people, and we really don’t want that to happen.

If you’ve ever thought:
💭 “I could help with that…”
Now is the perfect time.

Come along to our Fun Day & AGM to find out more and talk to our team!
