Seaton Park had the privilege of hosting the,

🏆2025 Ed Smith Tournament🏆

An Arbroath & surrounding area Primary School Football tournament for all school children boys and girls in P6 and below.

A long established tradition and right of passage for all budding footballers in the town and its a great honour to host at Seaton Park after a long absence and hopefully a place for future events.

Thanks to AYFC and its volunteers for all the hard work behind the scenes providing help, football pitches and equipment to allow it to run smoothly ⚽️ 🥅

Thanks to all the schools for attending and entertaining the crowds with great skills, goals and sportsmanship throughout.

Massive well done to Timmergreens Primary School who lifted the winners trophy 🏆🌟

Thanks to Alan Donaldson at Turf Tank for the demonstration for pitch configuration and initially marking out our pitches to allow teams to play at Seaton Park.

Seaton Park now has
• 2x 7 a side pitch and
• one 9 a side pitch

for the season 25/26 🥅 ⚽️ 💪🏼

In February we removed all the temporary condemned containers.

Thanks to Geddes GROUP for removal, transportation, disposal, as well as skip hire during the project 🚜

Despite the cold weather they had a good time reminiscing through the memorabilia found whilst emptying the containers 🏗️

The Away Dressing Room

Ever dreamed of owning a piece of local football history that smells like a mix of deep heat, regret, and very mild smoke damage? Well, look no further!

This once-proud changing room has seen more halftime rants than Arbroath Cycle Path.

features include:

Charcoal-accented walls (formerly white)
Open-plan ceiling (thanks to a bit of fire damage)
Natural ventilation via... missing windows
Authentic muddy boot prints from the class of '98
The benches that can’t support themselves never mind players.

And a toilet taken from the set of Trainspotting.

She’s not pretty, but she’s got character – and with a little TLC (and possibly a priest), she could be back to her former, barely-acceptable glory in no time.

Volunteers, donations and local businesses get intouch if you can help return it to its former glory.

Back in Janauary, the Seaton Project volunteers first task was to empty the old changing rooms last used by Arbroath Sporting Club FC. This allowed the team to assess the suitability of the building that has laid dormant for well over 10 years.

Some very interesting Arbroath football related artefacts found during the clean up one of which was the Arbroath Sporting Club FC season 2009/10 rules, including fines still attached to the wall of the home dressing room.

Any remaining outstanding fines, plus interest are now to be made payable to The Seaton Project 🤪
