Our shelves have just been taken over by… a very small but very determined Lifeguard Teddy. 🧸💛

He’s here to celebrate 25 years of RNLI Lifeguards — and he insists you come meet him.

He’s fully kitted out, stylish hat and all, and honestly looks more prepared for the beach than most of us on a sunny day. 😎🌊

We’ve also got brand‑new lifeguard merchandise, including hats that make you look almost as cool as the teddy. Almost.

📅 Opening Times:
🕐 Saturday & Sunday — 1pm to 3pm
(Prime shopping hours for impulse buying adorable bears.)

Applications to join the RNLI as a face-to-face fundraiser in Scotland are now open 🌊

The role helps the RNLI reach thousands of people every year, sharing important water safety messages with beachgoers and visitors to some of the summer’s most popular events. It is also crucial in helping the RNLI continue its lifesaving service, encouraging new supporters to donate.

You’ll gain valuable skills, earn a competitive salary, and receive the training you need to succeed.

RNLI & HM Coastguard advice

Severe weather is affecting the Arbroath coastline.

Please take extra care:
⚠️ Stay well back from cliffs and cliff paths
⚠️ Avoid Arbroath seafront, harbour areas and promenades
⚠️ Large waves can break over sea walls without warning
⚠️ Keep children and pets under close control
⚠️ Do not take risks for photos or to watch the storm

Conditions can change rapidly. The safest option is to stay away from the coast until the storm has passed.

🚨 In an emergency, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.

Our station shop is now closed for 2025!!

We would like to thank everyone that has popped in and helped support our station, Fundraisers and crew by buying items from our shop, donations and your continued support.

Our shop will be open on January 1st along with our volunteers helping provide warm drinks during the new years dook!

From 10th January we will be back open 1-3pm on Saturdays only during January and February.

This weekend you can also find some of our fundraising volunteers at the lovely new Aldi store that just recently opened on Saturday.

Did you know that your support helps keep our station open and is all supported by volunteers who give up time to help from anything fundraising to actually being on the lifeboats saving lives at sea! How amazing is that.

On Friday 14th and Monday 17th November local RBS staff in Forfar will be hosting a tombola and on Tuesday 18th at OAP hall with proceeds going to our Arbroath RNLI station.
So if you’re free on any of those dates feel free to pop in and show the staff your support while also helping support RNLI Arbroath Lifeboat Station.

Did you know the RNLI is a charity that public donations are essential to fund the lifesaving services provided by their volunteer crews, which include the kit, training, and equipment needed for rescue operations. The charity's core message is that "even one life lost at sea is too many" and that, with support, they will continue their mission to save "every one".
