Good luck to all our YDL athletes today in Aberdeen. Have a great day guys, and hope to hear of lots of PBs when you get back!…

Also, we have had quite a few new members come along to training recently and they have all fitted right in. Keep up the good work you guys. And remember and speak to the coaches about getting involved in club competitions like the YDL today.

Up next on the competition calendar is the RAM league next Sunday(10th May). This is a league that is available to all age groups from U12s and above. Speak to Team Manager Simon for more info on this.

One last thing for you today. We recently shared a petition to raise awareness of our situation with regards our facilities. Our coaches do their best to ensure that rabbit holes are filled in on the track prior to each session. However, how good would it be to have an all weather track?! If you have a spare 2 minutes please sign and share the petition so we can get as many names on it as possible.

The club kicked off the 2026 summer season on Sunday up in Aberdeen at the RAM league.
Conditions weren’t ideal, but some great performances by the athletes. Brilliant to see some new faces competing this year as well.
Well done everyone. Can’t wait for the next one now. C’mon ADAC😃🏃🏃‍♀️🏃🏃‍♀️

No long have we finished our cross country posts and we’re on to the next….

There’s never a dull moment at ADAC, and next on the agenda is the start of the summer track and field program. We cannot wait to get the summer program up and running and see all our athletes competing in our black and gold again this year….

The club will again be involved in competitions against other clubs from age 9 upwards.

If your child would like to have a go at some of the many events athletics has to offer, please bring them along to our training sessions and speak to the coaches.

We also offer a little athletics section, where children from 5-8 years old come along and get started with the basic movements not only required for athletics events, but for many different sports and activities.

The club would like to say a massive well done to all competing athletes yesterday morning at Monikie Country Park. The weather was glorious and so was the competition.
We had some new faces join us on the day, which was great to see. We would be delighted if you guys were to join our club in time for the outdoor track and field season that kicks off in a few weeks. New members get 2 free sessions to come and try before committing to membership. Please get in touch for more details if interested….
Many thanks to all who came along to support the event as well as all your hard work in baking etc to keep everyone fed.
A brilliant club day out that has got us really fired up for this summer.

Registration Day and Annual Cross Country Event.

In just less than 2 weeks time we hold our annual registration day alongside our clubs cross country event.
Saturday 21st March at Monikie Country Park, can we have all members there for around 9.45 sharp at the marquee by the ranger centre as races will start at around 10.20…

New members are welcome to come and have a run too. Medals awarded for each age group.
Some tasty treats on offer too(for after your race of course!)

Fingers crossed we get some decent weather!!
Come along and get involved and enjoy a fun morning of action packed races…..🏃🏃‍♀️🏃🏃‍♀️
