Untold Stories has taken on many forms this year.

We worked with artist Dominika and the High School to capture some young peoples stories, in a variety of techniques - visual and written.

Then Rebecca Sharp took us on a literary adventure of Untold Stories, in poetic form.

We then took on Yalla Riso and experienced the creativity of a riso printer and a room full of people! The results were personal projects and a communal collection of stories about Arbroath.

Local textile printer Astrid Weigl took on the next iteration of Untold Stories through material printing and adornment. This group made their own Untold Stories piece and then a large Abbey piece.

We hosted some very talented musicians, Amy and Elaine - some of you may have chatted to them in the shop front 124 High Street where they were gathering Diddles and stories about Diddles. They split their time between The New Scriptorium in the Abbey grounds and the High Street, making the most of each location. They also attended local ceilidhs, musical groups and the High School!

To finish this programme, we collated talented people around us with the leadership of Taylor Dyson, the Dundee Scriever. This was a VERY well attended collection of Untold Stories, told by experts and people working in the field. - This event will be available for all shortly.

Thank you to the 124 people who we have had direct interactions with us in this very quick 6 month programme!

Untold Stories - Materiality.
Arbroath 2020+ collaborated with textile artist Astrid Wiegel on a two-day workshop introducing material printing.

Community members from colleges, charities, and local creatives came together to explore sharing untold stories through this medium.

The outcome was diverse and thrilling. Everyone contributed and learned from Astrid's expertise, resulting in a unique wall hanging.

This collaborative piece now proudly displays the town's untold stories at Reach Across offices.
