Uncle Wainwright's Charity Shop Uncle Wainwright's is the charity shop raising funds for St Mary's Church Appledore. It also helps towards helping local charities and outreach.

The funding is needed for the upkeep of the church, the church hall, the churchyard and its surroundings. Ideally situated opposite the Ferry Slipway in Appledore, Uncle Wainwright's Charity Shop serves the local community and raises funds for St Mary's Church, Appledore, North Devon. Open every Wednesday and Saturday 10am to 4pm plus most Festival days. Open more often during summer. The shop was

originally opened as part of a major fundraising venture for St Mary's church tower and has continued to support the maintenance of the church by the sale of donated preloved goods to the local people and visitors. A friendly welcome awaits you at our 'Aladdin's Cave'!
