Appledore Sub-Aqua Club is a non profit making group of likeminded divers who like to dive the waters around, Devon and Cornwall including Lundy Island and the Isles Of Scilly. Appledore Sub-Aqua club welcomes enquires from qualified divers holding a minimum qualification of SAA Club Diver, PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent.

Lundy delivered for our midweek dive trip despite the wind and swell. Dive sites were limited due to the conditions with the Knoll Pins, Iona II and Robert wrecks delivering again. The water was a balmy 16 celcius and visibility 3-5m. It would be nice if the weather settled down now so we can explore other dive sites 🤞🤿🛥️🐬 (a few stills captured from GoPro video)

Finally the tide times and weather came together for us to dive Lundy on Saturday 20th June. We were joined by a dolphin on the trip over, always a special moment. A couple of sunfish were also spotted and the sun came out as we approached the island. We dived the reef at the Gul Rock site, the Iona II and the Robert. Visibility varied between 3 and 6m with a lot of suspended dead phytoplankton in the water column. The water temperature was a respectable 15 celcius. All in all a superb day. 🐬 🛥️🤿🌤️
