Tonight at St Mary’s hall in Appledore the Appledore Ceilidh band. Doors open at 7pm. Tickets £12.50 on the door. Bar available.

Saturday 5 September - Not only is the wonderful craft fair being held in the hall, there is the Riverside Hospice cafe and the Appledore Book Festival Box Office. Tickets are still available for a number of events - Patrick Gale, the Dolly Parton Tribute show by Diamond Dolly, Lamorna Ash and many others. The box office is open from 10-1230h.

Appledore Book Festival Box Office is at the hall this morning - Saturday 29 August from 10-1230pm. Come along and book tickets for Gordon Buchanan, Patrick Gale and the Dolly Parton event and many more.
The Box Office will be at the hall on Saturday 5 and Saturday 12 September 10-1230pm.

Update on the main hall - the stage is being readied for the Maritime Players to use for the play they are rehearsing and will be performed in October. The stage has been cleared, the stage surround has been painted, the track and curtains have been taken down and new tracks and curtains will be installed at the end of September.
If you know of any groups which would like to use the stage for plays/performances please contact [email protected].

St Mary's hall is now a registered charity No. 1219276. The hall is managed by the Parochial Church Council of St Mary's Church, Appledore and it has now become a registered charity and by default the hall is also a registered charity.

For the last two years the hall's wifi has been sponsored by local companies. The renewal of the wifi contract is due in September and the hall is looking for a sponsor to cover the cost of the annual wifi, about £450. Any offers would be very welcome and your company/organisation is able to advertise in the various rooms in the hall and on the noticeboards. Please contact [email protected] for more details.
