Local youth charity Euphoric Circus CIO will hold its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 7 July, from 5pm to 6pm, at Appleby Sports Centre.
The meeting is open to members, families, supporters, partner organisations and anyone interested in finding out more about the charity’s work with children and young people across rural Cumbria.
Euphoric Circus CIO is a youth-focused charity established in 2006. The organisation uses social circus, creative activity and relationship-based youth work to support young people’s confidence, wellbeing, skills and sense of belonging.
Its sessions include circus skills, movement, creative projects, games, volunteering and youth-led activities. The charity provides safe, welcoming spaces where young people can build friendships, try new things, develop confidence and access trusted support from youth workers.
Over the past year, Euphoric Circus has continued to deliver inclusive youth sessions, one-to-one youth work support, volunteering opportunities and youth leadership development. The charity has supported young people to improve confidence, develop social and practical skills, take part in positive activities and feel more connected to their local communities.
The AGM will include a short reflection on the charity’s activities over the past year, an update from trustees, and information about future plans.
“Our AGM is a chance to celebrate the young people, volunteers, staff, trustees, families and partners who make Euphoric Circus possible. This year has shown how important safe, inclusive and creative youth spaces are, especially in rural communities. We are proud of the confidence, connection and leadership we have seen grow through our work.”
The event will take place at Appleby Sports Centre on Tuesday 7 July, 5pm–6pm.
