On Friday night we held our annual charter dinner which was held at Appleby Golf Club we would like to thank the Stewards and staff for an excellent evening. A warm welcome was given to President Mike Schug on his return after his stay in the RVI hospital in Newcastle. District president John Edward’s gave an excellent speech also our guest speaker Paul Thomas from Cumbria Aid Ukraine he gave us all an update on the continued help going to the Ukraine

Last week the large 120 Kv generator was delivered to St Mary’s Hospital in Kiev where it was very needed and appreciated. Once again thanks to all in the district who helped by donating money to the Appleby Rotary help for Ukraine fund.
All the other smaller generators went out on the same truck and are now been put to good use
