Blue Green Algae Blooms have been detected in the water at:

⚠️ Antrim Loughshore at Rea's Wood
⚠️ Along the Toome Canal
⚠️ Cranfield Point / Jetty

This can occur temporarily during prolonged periods of sunshine.

We advise that all 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻, 𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗴𝗮𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 as this can produce toxins that cause skin rashes, eye irritation, vomiting, fever, diarrhoea and muscle pain.
