Today our P5/P6 class got to celebrate their win for the “Decorate your Door” competition we launched last month! And what a day they had!!

Everyone got to go out on Davys yellow boat for the most amazing cruise around the Bay and out to the black rock! You’ll see from the pics & video - the smiles say it all!

Followed by yummy hot chocolates in Twilight Coffee & Bunkhouse - what a treat!

We are so grateful to St John's Camogie Club Carnlough for sponsoring the prizes for this competition and were DELIGHTED when the amazing Eva Lee was able to come along this morning to represent the club, fresh from her All Ireland victory at the weekend! The kids all got pics with her and were delighted she took the time to come down! Look at those smiles!!

Thanks so much to everyone involved- Davy, staff at Twilight, Miss Cosgrove, Mrs McHugh, all the teaching assistants, Camogie club, Eva & Gary for the drone footage- such a great day all round!

Well done again to P5/P6 for winning with the most votes for their door, and to all the classes who took part! We already can’t wait to do it again next year! ☺️

📖📚To celebrate World Book Month we asked each classroom in St. John's Primary School, Carnlough to pick a book and decorate their classroom door using their chosen book as the theme/inspiration! 📖📚
And we want YOU to be the judge of the best decorated door 🙌

We have a very special event coming soon that we’ll need everyone’s help to support!!

We’ve set the kids of St. John's Primary School, Carnlough the task of decorating their classroom doors!! 🎨

The winners of the best decorated door will be judged only by all of you on Facebook!! We will put up a post with the pictures of each door, and we’ll ask everyone on fb to like their favorite entry! The picture with the most likes wins 🙌

The winning class will have an array of treats in store from the PTFA!
