Save Our Scout Hall Our Scout Hall in Pittenweem is structurally unsafe and we need YOUR help!

Over the last year there have been signs of a structural fault around the front entrance. After the cold winter, the cracks have become worse to a point where it has become dangerous and steel supports inside and outside the hall were fitted and the area was fenced off. A structural engineer has inspected the hall and recommended dismantling the front door area which includes the stone pediment. U

nfortunately this area also supports the main steel beam that holds up the three roofs that make up our hall so it is a major job to support the roof whilst the works are carried out! We are trying to raise £22,000 to safeguard the future of Scouting throughout the East Neuk.
