The Annan Christmas Lights Committee is a small, dedicated team of individuals who share a passion for bringing festive cheer to our town. Each year, we pour our hearts into organizing the sensational Annual Christmas Lights Switch-On event that takes place on the first Saturday in December. This magical occasion doesn’t just happen overnight; it takes months of meticulous planning, creativity, an

d determination to ensure every detail shines. We are always on the lookout for innovative fundraising opportunities and invite more community members to join our efforts. Together, we can make this year and every year’s celebration even more spectacular! Thanks to the incredible support of the residents and the local shops and businesses, we can provide a gift for the children who eagerly gather to meet Santa. Their generosity adds to the warmth of our community spirit, making this event a new tradition for families. As part of the festivities, local groups and organizations join the lantern parade up to the Market Square, where the much-anticipated moment finally arrives. The Annan Young Citizen of the Year takes centre stage, flipping the switch that illuminates our town in a dazzling display of holiday lights, filling hearts with joy and holiday spirit. If you’re looking to be part of something truly special, we warmly welcome you to join the Annan Christmas Lights Committee. Together, let's create lasting memories and moments for all to enjoy.
