We are beyond proud of Richard for this achievement! From playing in our Youth Band to joining the 'big' band at the last few contests we are incredibly grateful to play even a small part in his musical career!

Also a massive well done to Benjamin and Dexter from our Youth Band who were runners up.

An incredible achievement for all of you! A moment you should all be proud of!! 👏👏

Well done Richard, the winner of our Primary Brass Day competition 🎺

Richard works really hard on his cornet playing and the winning performance was of Carnival of Venice, which he performed fantastically well.

Richard is a member of Dumfries and Galloway Youth Orchestra and Annan Town Band’s Youth Band and has lessons with Mr Bahlaj weekly at Eastriggs Primary 🎶

Richard will now represent team brass at Scottish Young Musicians regional junior competition at The Bridge on 17th June- Good Luck Richard!

On Sunday we had the privilege of performing at the annual carol concert at St Andrew's Church in Annan.

The concert is a much-loved tradition for the band, bringing the busy Christmas period to a close and making sure we are all full of festive cheer as we head into a well-deserved winter break.
