CnaG Boirche Íochtar

CnaG Boirche Íochtar Irish language community organisation whose aim is to grow & develop a vibrant Irish language community in Lower Mourne and beyond

In 1981 some hard working local volunteers got together and started Conradh na Gaeilge Boirche Íochtar/ the Lower Mourne Gaelic League by starting Irish language classes in their homes. Since then with a lot of hard work, amazing suport form the community and other organisations Conradh na Gaeilge Boirche Íochtar has grown and grown. Boirche íochtar is now based at Páirc na Mara, Marine Park, Annalong, a purpose refurbished corn store with multi-purpose rooms which hold classes, parent and toddler groups, workshops and events.

🌳Footsteps in the Forest will be returning to Slieve Gullion Forest Park with a fully Irish-language night.

📆 Irish-language sessions on Friday 23 October:
16:00, 16:30, 17:00, 17:30, 18:00, 18:30, 19:00, 19:30, 20:00, 20:30

Tickets will cost £10 per car/family this year, covering up to 7 seats.

Bus:
🚌Leaves Páirc na Mara at 5:30pm
🚌Gaelscoil na mBeann at 5:45pm
Return to Kilkeel and Annalong at approximately 9:00pm.
