Here are all the details of our Easter event - we’re looking forward to welcoming you all next Sunday 🐰

⭐️ FREE entry to the Community Centre - open 1.30-4.30pm

🧩 Boardgames - all set up and ready for you to enjoy

🎨 Badge making - first badge free, each badge 50p thereafter

🍰 Refreshments - tea, coffee, cans, fruit shoots and cake all available to purchase. Enjoy a drink and chat with your neighbours!

🐣 Egg smash - 50p a go. Everyone’s a winner but will it be a sweet, a toy or a terrible Easter joke?!

🐻 Soft toy tombola - £1 a go. Will you be lucky enough to re-home a furry friend?

🏆 FREE Quiz - all completed quiz sheets will be entered into a free prize draw for a mini Easter hamper.

🥚 Excellent eggs competition - create, colour or collage an Easter egg design on A4 paper with prizes for the winners! Bring along to the Community Centre on the day.

📚 Little Library - take a book or leave a book. The Community Centre bookshelf can be found in the entrance hall and is there for everyone to use when the Centre is open for events.

Today we have been preparing for badge making and shopping for competition prizes ready for the Easter event on Sunday 29th March - are you coming?!

🐣 Make one badge for FREE, all others 50p each

🐰 Draw, collage or paint an Easter egg design on an A4 piece of paper, bring it along to the Community Centre on the day of the event and one of the three prizes could be yours. Remember to write your name on the back!

The U3A are looking for someone to help set up tables and chairs at the Community Centre on Tuesday afternoons - can you help?

This is a paid position that would suit someone who lives locally. It would involve setting out tables and chairs at the Centre from 1445 to 1500 and then putting them away again from 1630 to 1645.

If you are interested, please do pop us a DM or email and we can put you in touch with Jane who runs the group.
