Progress continues on the extension to our O Gauge layout, Collins Cove. We have now completed and tested the new scenic board and are able to recommence running sessions. Track weathering and ballasting are next on the list.

We have reached a milestone with our new N Gauge layout with the first train running today.

We are working hard to complete track laying on our new scenic board. Foam glued down, track aligned and pinned down using a straight tracksetta and roller spacers for the 6ft way. When we were happy we soldered droppers ready for electrical connections between the boards. Hopefully we will be running soon.

Very good progress on the extension to our O Gauge layout , Collins Cove. We completed the fiddle yard section and have now moved on to the scenic board. Today the base board was levelled and secured, foam underlay glue down and track and electrical droppers prepared. With luck we should be running at the end of the next meeting.

Looking forward to the Steam Gala at the Watercress Railway, our local heritage railway. Always lots to see and do.

We are making great progress with our N Gauge layout based on Wherwell Station. One of our members has bought a 3D printer and is having great fun reproducing the station buildings in N Gauge.
