Countess of Brecknock Hospice The Countess of Brecknock Hospice provides palliative care to adults with a life-limiting illness.

The Countess of Brecknock Hospice is a specialist palliative care unit, within Andover War Memorial Hospital. The hospice multi-disciplinary team consists of doctors, nurses, therapists, counsellors and support staff, who work to help people live as well as possible, until they die. The hospice provides specialist care for people with any life-limiting illness through:

An inpatient unit
A hospice at home service
A day hospice service
Outpatient clinics
Working in close partnership with Hampshire Hospitals Specialist palliative care service community and hospital teams, as well as community care teams and GPs.

It’s officially beginning to look a lot like Christmas at The Countess of Brecknock Hospice! ❤️

Our Christmas Shop is now open, with Christmas cards, festive gifts and stocking fillers all ready to help you get into the Christmas spirit. 🎅✨

💜 A HUGE thank you to Jen, Ben, Sarah and Bridget! 💜

On Sunday 27th September, the family took on the Test Way Walk in memory of Phil Harris, Sarah’s husband, Jen’s Dad, Ben’s Grandad and Bridget’s uncle.

Jen and Ben completed the incredible 25.5-mile route, while Sarah and Bridget took on the 11-mile route, all while raising money for the Countess of Brecknock Hospice. 💜🥾

We’re absolutely delighted to say that they have raised just under £1,000 in sponsorship! 🎉👏

A massive thank you to all four of you for taking on this challenge and choosing to support the hospice in Phil’s memory. And of course, thank you to everyone who donated and helped them reach such a fantastic total.

Your generosity will help us continue providing care and support to local people and their families when they need it most.

A proud moment for The Countess of Brecknock Hospice.

We're honoured to have received Platinum Status recognition from Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, following three consecutive years of Gold Status.

A huge thank you to our staff, volunteers, supporters, fundraisers and community partners. This achievement reflects the collective effort of so many people who help make our care possible.

🪂💙 JUMPING FOR JO! 💙🪂

A HUGE congratulations to Simon, Sean and Kaylee who took on the incredible challenge of jumping from 10,000ft in memory of Jo! 🪂❤️

What started as a rather terrifying idea has turned into an absolutely amazing fundraising achievement, with the trio now having raised just under £3,000 for the Countess of Brecknock Hospice! 🎉👏

Their challenge was inspired by Jo, a very special lady who touched so many lives with her kindness, warmth and ability to make everyone feel loved and valued. They wanted to honour her memory while giving something back to the hospice that cared for her with such love, dignity and compassion.

Simon, Sean and Kaylee you are all absolutely amazing! ❤️ What a wonderful tribute to Jo, and what an incredible amount of money you have raised to help support others and their families.

We’re absolutely delighted to be their Charity of the Year, and what an amazing way to get things started! 🎉

Their quiz raised an incredible £500+ for the Hospice, a fantastic start to what we hope will be a wonderful year of fundraising and support. 🙌

Rather than receiving presents for their special anniversary, Carol and Ted kindly asked for donations to the Countess of Brecknock Hospice, raising an amazing £790.28, plus a €10 donation! 💜

What a wonderful and thoughtful way to celebrate such a special milestone. Thank you both so much for thinking of the hospice and for your incredible generosity. 💜

🍋 What an amazing achievement from two wonderful young fundraisers! 🍋

A huge thank you to Sienna & Ella-May, who set up their very own homemade lemonade and bracelet stall outside Enham Village Post Office & Stores to raise money for the Countess of Brecknock Hospice.

And they have done an absolutely incredible job, raising a fantastic £182.92! 🎉👏

Their total includes the money they raised from their stall, along with a £21 online donation from someone who wanted to support their fundraising.

We think this is extra special because Sienna and Ella-May are children themselves! 🥰 It’s so heartwarming to see them coming up with their own fundraising idea, putting in the effort and wanting to help local families.

£182.92 is an amazing amount, well done girls, you should both be incredibly proud of yourselves! 💜👏

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by their stall, bought lemonade or a bracelet, donated online and supported these two little fundraising superstars. 🌟

What a fantastic night at The Lights in Andover! 💃🕺

We’d like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported the recent Boot Scootin - Andover’ event and helped make it such a brilliant evening.

With a fantastic raffle packed full of amazing prizes, the event raised an incredible £1,400 for the Countess of Brecknock Hospice!

Every penny raised will help us continue providing vital care and support to local families living with life-limiting illnesses.

We’re so grateful to the organisers, everyone who donated raffle prizes, and everyone who came along and helped make the evening such a success.
