Chapel Arts Studios is a small collective of contemporary artists who are based in the grounds of St. This new conversion functions as a creative hub for the Andover region. WHAT A JOY it has been to see the artworks created by Vigo Primary School pupils on display at Chapel Arts Studios 🎨🥰.

This week, we have loved welcoming Vigo School classes to the exhibition and seeing the children's excitement as they discovered their artwork in the gallery space. It has been wonderful to watch them engage with the exhibition.

OPENING TODAY:

🎨"We All Have Different Eyes"🎨
A Celebration of Children's Creativity

Join us for a joyful and inspiring exhibition showcasing the imagination, creativity, and artistic expression of children from Vigo Primary School, Andover, presented in collaboration with Chapel Arts Studios.

The exhibition will take place at Chapel Arts Studios from 10–14 June 2026, featuring artwork created by children from across Vigo School. Organised by artist and Chapel Arts Studios Associate Marta Lichochinska, who is also the school’s art teacher, the exhibition showcases work from most of the children in the school and offers visitors a rare opportunity to experience the world through young eyes.

Artists, makers, and creatives — entries open for the Chapel Arts Studios Open Exhibition 2026 ✨

This year’s theme is: “That’s how the light gets in” — a beautiful prompt open to interpretation across all mediums.

If you’ve been working on something that speaks to hope, resilience, change, vulnerability, or illumination in any form, we’d love to see it.

1 day to go! ✨

'Convergence: Heart Land', an exhibition of Andover-inspired art opens on Saturday 9th May at 3pm and runs until 30th May.

The exhibition is the latest collaboration by twenty3 art collective, a
group of six multidisciplinary artists who graduated together in MA Fine Art from Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) in 2023. They are Sophie Firth, Richard Gregory, Jindra Jehu, Zara McQueen, Sarah Moore and Hester Poole.

For this exhibition new work has been created in response to a number of visits to Andover looking for inspiration and making connections. The works the artists present began with conversations in the high street, visits to ancient chalk streams and an Iron Age hillfort, and the mapping of personal histories.
