🌿 STATE OF FLUX — CAS Associate Artists Exhibition 🌿

Only 2 days left to visit State of Flux, a new exhibition bringing together the work of our CAS Associate Artists.

Open until 5 September, with the gallery open 11am–4pm.

We are constantly in a state of flux — and this exhibition explores the artist’s ability to capture those moments of transition, change, rebellion, reflection and possibility.

Our Associates are a diverse group of professional artists, coming together at different points in their careers to support, nurture and share their work. Across painting, sculpture, mixed media and more, each artist responds to the theme of flux in their own highly personal way.

From questioning the status quo and pushing boundaries, to reflecting on the past and imagining the future, State of Flux offers a kaleidoscope of perspectives on the changes we all encounter.

Chapel Arts Studios has loved being part of Four Fun Fridays this August, bringing a fantastic mix of FREE workshops, activities and entertainment to Andover town centre.

And we’re back this Friday with a recycled printmaking workshop on the theme of 'Freshwater Adventures'.

Come and join us to:

🎨 Create prints using recycled materials, inspired by river textures, wildlife and flowing water.

✍️ Add your own line to Poems That Flow, a collaborative writing activity where we’ll build a shared river-inspired poem together.

We opened State of Flux, our Associate Artists exhibition, on Saturday — and what a great turnout! Thank you to everyone who joined us, shared conversations and helped us celebrate the incredible art on display. ✨

Open daily from 11am–4pm during Hampshire Open Studios 2026, the exhibition runs until 5 September.

Come and experience how a group from our Associate Artists network responds to themes of transformation and metamorphosis, exploring new and experimental approaches to art-making.

Open Exhibition 2026 – that's how the light gets in

Congratulations to Elly Drew, winner of the People's Choice Award for her remarkable work, 'Eight'!

The work began life as an experiment in 'rusting metal' and over time it grew into a 'Wing' made with over 8kg of safety pins. Elly is currently studying for an MA in Fine Art at Wi******er School of Art.

As the winner of the People's Choice Prize, Elly receives one year's free membership to CAS Associates.
