It's Friday Funding!

This week's funding spotlight is the (NEMO) Northern European Mobility Opportunity from the Nordic Culture Fund.

NEMO supports artists, cultural practitioners and organisations looking to build connections, collaborate and exchange knowledge across Northern Europe. The fund helps cover travel and mobility costs, making it easier to develop international partnerships and take part in cultural activities beyond your local area.

This could be a fantastic opportunity for you if you're a charity, community organisation, CIC or cultural group looking to strengthen your cross border collaboration, share ideas and create new opportunities through arts and culture.

Free Community Lunch in Andover this Saturday!

This weekend The Powerword International (TPWI) is running a free community lunch and everyone is welcome to attend. Do you support or care for someone affected by cancer?

Wessex Cancer Alliance wants to hear from unpaid carers and the people who support loved ones through a cancer diagnosis. Many people do not see themselves as a carer, but their experiences matter and can help shape future services and support.

By taking a few minutes to complete the survey, you can help improve understanding of what carers need and ensure their voices are heard.

The survey is anonymous, confidential and open until the end of October 2026.

Nationally, there is a lack of information about the experiences of the unpaid people who support or care for others who are affected by cancer. Many people do not think of themselves as a ‘carer’ and do not see themselves as needing the care and support they deserve.

The fund is supporting organisations that help young people with learning disabilities move towards meaningful paid employment through high-quality careers education, vocational profiling, work experience, and job coach support.

Funding is available for organisations that work closely with schools, families and employers to create clear pathways into employment and supported internships.

This could be a fantastic opportunity for charities, CICs and not-for-profit organisations delivering employment, education and independence support for young people with learning disabilities.
