Support is available via the NCT team for those needing support around breastfeeding or post natal support - details below 👇

Did you know that the wonderful NCT team are at ACE every Tuesday, offering breastfeeding support, guidance and a friendly face for parents who need it?

We also have a dedicated self-weighing area, so you can keep an eye on your baby’s growth whenever you wish.

We’re delighted that these amazing ladies will also be part of the free antenatal course pilot that we’re hoping to launch as soon as possible.

At the moment, the nearest antenatal course option costs over £200 and is based in Eastleigh. For many families, that’s simply not accessible.

Becoming a parent for the first time is one of the biggest transitions you’ll ever experience. Alongside the physical changes come emotional, hormonal, financial and relationship changes too. Every member of the family is affected as priorities shift and a new chapter begins.

It’s hard not to wonder whether the rise in poor mental health among new parents is linked, at least in part, to the reduction in support services and the increasing cost of essential preparation and support programmes. Professional advice is important, but so is building a network of people around you who understand what you’re going through.

Parents shouldn’t have to navigate this journey alone.

Let’s bring back accessible antenatal support for everyone.
