Did you know that we run a Help Centre in Tairgwaith on Fridays in partnership with Rhynew ? 11:30am - 1pm in the Community Centre at the rear of the village.

If you're in the area & need a bit of help with something why not chat over your cuppa then see what's available in Rhynew?

You never know, 1 small chat might just start the ball rolling to big help in your life. We see lots of people who come for 1 bit of help and end up getting far more than they thought. Have a chat, the worst is you'll get to know a lovely member of our team. 😊

Thank you for not letting anyone go hungry! Your donations fed lots of people when they had nothing - especially the 1300 children that were given food throughout 2025/26. Without your support things would have been much worse!

Dads’ Group starting May 13th

Flying Start Carmarthenshire are launching an 8-week group just for dads and male carers – whether you’re a dad, step-dad, grandfather, or in a caring role, you’re very welcome.

This is a relaxed space to connect, share experiences, and pick up useful tips, with guest speakers each week covering topics like:
💬 Mental health
🗣️ Children’s language development
⛑️ First aid
💪 Fitness & wellbeing

🕕 Evenings (6–8pm) – easy to attend after work
📍Has Beanz Coffee Bar, 33 Quay Street, Ammanford SA18 3BS
🍽️ Supper provided

The sessions will be in English, but Welsh speakers are very welcome to get in touch – we’d love to support you, and hope to run a Welsh-medium group too.
