💔 PLEASE HELP US SAVE PPBC 💔
Protecting Previously Loved Border Collies
To every person who has ever loved a Border Collie… please, we need you now.
PPBC — Protecting Previously Loved Border Collies — exists because these beautiful, intelligent, sometimes troubled dogs needed someone to stand up for them.
Dogs who had been abandoned.
Dogs who had been neglected.
Dogs who needed veterinary treatment, rehabilitation, patience and love.
Dogs who simply needed someone to say “we won't give up on you.”
And PPBC has been that someone.
But now, PPBC desperately needs someone to stand up for them.
With veterinary bills running into thousands of pounds, fundraising not reaching its targets, and the contingency fund being used to keep dogs receiving the care they desperately need, PPBC has reached a breaking point.
The heartbreaking decision has now been made to close the doors to new admissions, apart from the four dogs already being worked with.
And this isn't because the need has gone away.
It is because there simply isn't enough money to continue.
💔 IF WE DON'T HELP, WE COULD LOSE PPBC.
Think about what that means.
How many Border Collies will have nowhere to turn?
How many will be passed from home to home?
How many will be misunderstood, abandoned or left without the veterinary care they need?
And how many dogs who could have had a second chance simply won't get one?
🐾 BUT WE CAN CHANGE THIS. 🐾
There are over 800 members in this community.
Imagine if every one of us gave just £1 a month.
That's £800 EVERY MONTH.
£5 each?
£4,000 a month.
£10 each?
£8,000 a month.
Just think about what PPBC could do with that kind of reliable support.
You don't have to give hundreds of pounds.
You don't have to be wealthy.
If every Border Collie lover reading this gave just a little, together we could make an enormous difference.
Please consider setting up a regular monthly payment, even if it's only £1.
And if you can't afford a monthly amount, please give whatever you can, whenever you can. Every single penny matters.

Do it for the Border Collies waiting for their second chance.
Do it for the dogs PPBC has already saved.
Do it for the families who have been given the privilege of loving one of these wonderful dogs.
And do it in memory of the Border Collies we've loved and lost.
