Feeling very thankful to the Estates team and Sustainable Amersham for making the chalk bank a wonderful wildflower meadow 💚💚💚
We thought the dry spring had meant the bee and pyramidal orchids would not appear but the recent rain has encouraged them to show off.

A lovely gift today from RHS - Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show through their rehoming scheme with Wayward plants 💚💚💚

We are very fortunate to have been donated a car load of ferns and grasses which we will plant in the autumn in the outside border area so patients on Chartridge and Waterside have a much nicer (green) view. In the meantime we will keep them nicely watered in our propagation area

The propagation team were hard at work this week, potting on seedlings. We’re growing native species for the Wildflower meadow and perrenials for the outside border areas 🌱🌱🌱😀💚

They are looking nice - we just need to keep them nicely watered (just moist really and avoid getting them overly wet as that will rot them off).
