Alyth Scout Group are on the Tesco’s Stronger Starts, (you know the one where you drop your blue plastic coin thing in the slot), for the next quarter. Whilst I’m not endorsing Tesco’s or encouraging anyone to change their shopping habits to support this, if you happen to go into Tesco’s make sure you support us and tell anyone you know who goes to Tesco’s to support us if they can.

We’re guaranteed £500 for coming last, but £1500 for coming first would be awesome😎. We’re using it to fund outdoor residential experiences for our young people at prices everyone can afford. These experience are needed more than ever for young people and can be transformational for them.

It’s national volunteer week so I’d like to give a shout-out to all the volunteers at Alyth Scout Group, not forgetting our trustees and fundraising volunteers. The group is blessed to have many leaders who have given enormous service to scouting over countless years, (I could count them, but it might give away some people’s ages).

Whilst it is amazing to have these people in our community there is always room for new blood and you won’t regret it if you give it a try!

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who donated and showed up to our coffee morning today, whether to help or just to enjoy a coffee and cake 💜
We raised an absolutely amazing £1,231!
From the overflowing cake & candy to the huge raffle, side stalls & tombola there was definitely something for everyone.
