Alwinton Challenge A day of Challenge Walks set in the beautiful Northumberland country side. Hosted by North of Tyne Mountain Rescue Team

The North of Tyne Mountain Rescue Team will be organising the 22nd Alwinton Round. Based in and around Alwinton, Northumberland (OS Map 80 Cheviot Hills and Kielder Forest Area - GR 922064), there will be three walks to suit all abilities ranging from 6 mile ´family walk´ to the 20 mile ´Big Walk´.

The North of Tyne Mountain Rescue Team will be organising the 25th Alwinton Challenge which will take place on 15th June 2019. It’s a special year as its sister challenge, the Allendale Challenge turns 30!

Based in and around Alwinton, Northumberland (OS Map 80 Cheviot Hills and Kielder Forest Area - GR 922064), there will be three walks to suit all abilities ranging from a 6 mile ´family walk´ to the 20 mile ´Big Walk´, taking in some of Northumberland’s finest scenery!
