CAFTcharity

CAFTcharity The Children's Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT) is a charity based in Cheshire. CAFT has been offering holidays since 1992, the charity was founded in 1985.

A registered charity providing free residential holidays and fun day visits for children with life-limiting conditions, disabilities or who are living with disadvantage, from the North West of England and North Wales. We provide once in a lifetime opportunities for children from all over the North West. Each year we provide holidays, respite breaks, daytrips and Christmas Parties here at our Chesh

ire base for approximately 15,000 terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children each year. A break at CAFT is vital to these children who, through no fault of their own, find it difficult (if not impossible) to enjoy life in a way most of us will have taken for granted in our own childhoods. We give them the fun, love and freedom to play and enjoy childhood, forming special memories that will last them a lifetime. We can only do this thanks to our amazing supporters as we rely entirely on voluntary contributions in order to raise the £1,000,000 each year it takes to keep this special place open. Registered charity number 1003675.

🎹 How many CAFT Staff and Friday Gang members does it take to move a newly donated piano?

Well, judging by this photo “a few more than we thought!”

A huge thank you to our amazing Friday Gang and staff team who combined muscles, teamwork, determination and just a tiny bit of piano-moving expertise to safely transport this wonderful donated piano to its new home.

We’re delighted to say it’s now proudly in place in our Galleon, ready to fill CAFT with music, laughter, sing-alongs and plenty of magical moments for the children and families we support.

Thank you to everyone who helped move it – no backs (or pianos!) were harmed and of course a BIG thank you to our generous donor. 💪

Well that’s a wrap! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Ladies Lunch today. Safe to say everyone had an absolute ball and the generosity in the room was overwhelming.

Our grand total and official thanks will follow in the coming days but we hope you enjoyed our coverage on stories. At one point, everywhere you looked, our fabulous ladies were dancing so it seems right to finish with these absolute legends!

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Catherine, Chair of CAFT's Trustees, Richard our Facilities Assistant and their wonderful family and friends for their incredible support at the recent Scalefour Society event in Crewe.

Thanks to the hard work, generosity and dedication of so many people, dozens of cakes were donated, baked and sold over the weekend in aid of CAFT. It was a fantastic community effort that brought people together for a very special cause.
Special thanks go to Janet Coverdale, Eileen Room, Denise Orford and William Sandland, along with William's friends Joe and Isaac. We are also incredibly grateful to the many friends and family members who donated cakes and helped make the stall such a success.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who visited the event, stopped by the cake stall and made a purchase. Your support helped raise an amazing £1,652.28 for CAFT.

We are so grateful for the time, effort and generosity shown by everyone involved. The difference this support makes to the children and families we help is truly invaluable.

A huge thank you to our wonderful friends at Dulux Decorator Centre Altrincham!

With a 10-acre site to look after, we get through a lot of paint, so we are incredibly grateful for the generous donation of paint and equipment that will help us tackle a major project here at CAFT.

A special thank you to Bev Whitehead, Michelle Yates and Jodie Dowdle for your kindness, support and commitment. Your donation will make a real difference and we’re excited to continue building our relationship as we move through this year and beyond.

Gifts in kind like this are absolutely vital to our success, helping us direct more of our resources towards creating magical experiences for the children and families who need us most.

If you or your company could support CAFT through donations of products, services or equipment, we’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch to find out how you can help.

Thank you for being part of the CAFT community.
