One Christmas tree might not seem like much, but together, they make an incredible difference! 💚

Earlier this year, our Big Christmas TreeCycle Appeal collected and recycled around 88,000 Christmas trees all over the UK!

Every tree registered, every donation and every volunteer helped make that possible. 🌲

And now, we're getting ready to do it all again!

📅 Registration for our next Big Christmas TreeCycle Appeal opens soon.

Will you be joining us this year?

A little throwback to January! 🌲

Earlier this year, thousands of incredible volunteers came together to collect and recycle around 88,000 Christmas trees, raising over £1.8 million for charities and community causes across the UK. 💚

And we're getting ready to do it all again!

Our next Big Christmas TreeCycle Appeal launches in November.

Every collection in the Big Christmas TreeCycle Appeal raises funds for the charity that runs it. But a portion is always set aside for the wider community - support that goes back out to causes doing good work in that same patch.

Crucially, we don’t pick those causes. The decision belongs to the charity that ran the collection, and the community it was raised in.

This year ANDYSMANCLUB was EyUp! Charity’s choice, because of who turned out in the cold, and because men’s mental health is work worth backing. 🌲

And thank you to Andy’s Man Club for the thank-you that came back the other way. Much appreciated.

New partner alert! Welcome to the community Recycling Lives Charity 💚

After offering their support for our Manchester collection this year, they brought incredible positivity, vehicles, a lovely team of volunteers, and were an absolute pleasure to collect with. They truly caught the buzz for treecycling and are now taking on the challenge of running their own collection!

Recycling Lives Charity supports people facing challenges such as offending, homelessness, addiction, or unemployment by providing rehabilitation, accommodation, training, and employment opportunities to help them rebuild their lives. It also redistributes surplus food and works with communities and charities to reduce food poverty and prevent waste.

Funds raised through their tree collection will go towards supporting these much needed services.

We can’t wait to see what they will achieve in the Treecycle appeal 2027 💚🌲♻️

Happy ! 🌍🌲🦔

Ever wonder what happens to your Christmas tree after the decorations come down? At Just Helping, our Big Christmas Treecycle Appeal does more than just clear out your living room—it actively protects our local ecosystems!

Instead of rotting in a landfill, the thousands of trees we collect get a brilliant second life:
🐘 Providing vital enrichment and feed for animals at local farms and zoos.
🌊 Rebuilding and protecting British coastlines from sand dune erosion.
🥾 Chipped down to create natural, safe pathways in your local parks and woodlands.

Thanks to your generous donations and our incredible volunteers, we prevented an estimated 1.4 MILLION kilos of CO2 from entering landfills this year! 🤯

When you register your tree with Just Helping, you aren't just raising vital funds for local hospices, food banks, and vulnerable communities—you are building a greener planet. Thank you for your support! 💚

Did you know, many people believe that it's bad luck to leave your Christmas decorations up after the 5th January.

If you're yet to get rid of your Christmas tree, you can recycle it with Just Helping - they've teamed up with Biffa and Children's Hospice South West (CHSW) to pick up leftover trees in return for a donation to the charity.
