Alton Poppy Appeal

It is! Both date back to 1921, when the first Poppy Appeal was launched to support those affected by the First World War.

More than 100 years later, the appeal continues to support serving personnel, veterans and their families across the UK.

Every poppy worn and every donation made helps make that support possible.
