One of our own responders raising doing the Great North run to raise money for NWAS charity. Good luck Daisy, you'll smash it
🌟 Supporter Spotlight on this Thank You Thursday 🌟
Today, we’re saying a huge thank you to Daisy Price.
Daisy is taking on all 13.1 miles / 21.1km of the Great North Run, from Newcastle upon Tyne to sunny South Shields 🏃♀️ in support of the North West Ambulance Service Charity. 💚
As a volunteer Community First Responder in Alston, Daisy gives her time to provide vital basic life support until an ambulance arrives – a lifeline for patients in rural communities.
By fundraising, Daisy is helping us to:
✅Provide defibrillators and equipment
✅Support school & community education programmes
✅Fund training for volunteers
✅Create safe spaces for staff and volunteers to rest and recharge
💬 Daisy says:
"I am proud to be a first responder for NWAS and hope the money goes to helping my fellow responders in Alston and beyond. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to my fundraising so far, I can't back out now."
