Our fundraising Choir Concert is this time tomorrow! 🎶

It is not too late to buy tickets, you can do so using the QR code or visiting our website. You will also be able to pay on the door.

Time to bust some myths! 💥 If you have ever hesitated to reach out to us, this post may be for you.

❎ Myth: 'I should only contact the charity if I am in a crisis.'
✅ Reality: We try to prevent crisis situations! You can come to us for help with rising household bills, debt, complicated benefit applications and much more. We may be able to help you feel a little more secure 💪

❎ Myth: 'That charity only supports elderly people.'
✅ Reality: We are here for people of all ages! Whilst we do help a lot of older residents, we also support many families through our uniform scheme, and we help adults of all ages with form filling, signposting, referrals, benefit applications and more! 🤩

❎ Myth: 'Others will judge me for using a charity for help.'
✅ Reality: Our staff and volunteers are friendly and approachable, and we offer a confidential and judgement-free service. We are here for you no matter what ❤

If you are hesitant or worried to use a service, please don't be. Our volunteers are fantastic at what they do, and are always ready to put you at ease and reassure you.

Our Fundraising Choir Concert is THIS Saturday, 10th October! That's only THREE sleeps away! 🤩

Two award-winning choirs will come together to sing music from Coldplay, Queen and more by candlelight, and all money raised will go directly to supporting Alsager Community Support (ACS). This will ensure that we can continue providing support for local people in our community ❤

The local Civic Lunch Club is a vital service in our community. It gives a number of local people in need the opportunity to get out of the house, socialise with others, and eat a fresh, hot meal 🍽

They are in desperate need of volunteers to help out at the Lunch Club by helping to cook delicious meals, and simply being kind to the local people who attend 🤝

Alsager Community Support (ACS) are also desperately needing new volunteer Lunch Club Drivers so that those who cannot make their own way are still able to get involved 🚗

You only need a few spare hours a week or fortnight, and you could make a huge difference! 💪

These people simply need a friendly face who can spare just an hour a week for a chat and some much needed company ❤

If you have some spare time, you could make a huge difference in the life of a local resident. You don't need previous experience, just your kindness and generosity is enough to make a local life better 🫶

Only ONE WEEK to go!! 🎶

Get your last-minute tickets for our upcoming Choir Concert. This will be a magical evening of music by candlelight. Expect a range of songs from Coldplay, Queen, Robbie Williams and more! There will be a bar and a raffle, with some great prizes to be won 🤩
