What an incredible day at Lorbottle Hall!

We’re delighted to share that more than 500 people attended our event on Saturday 13th June, helping to raise an amazing £5,427 for Hospice Care North Northumberland.

A special highlight was our popular dog show, which raised £342 and saw over 150 dogs take part. It was wonderful to see so many four-legged friends and their owners enjoying the day.

Thank you to everyone who came along, took part, donated, and supported us. Your generosity helps us continue providing vital care and support to local people and their families.

We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our sponsors, volunteers and businesses that attended. Your hard work, dedication and support made this event possible, and we are incredibly grateful.

Grief can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face this alone.

At our hospice, we offer compassionate bereavement support for anyone navigating loss. Whether you need someone to listen or more structured guidance, we’re here for you.

Our Bereavement Active Listening Service is a free, confidential, volunteer-led service. It provides a safe space to talk and be heard, helping those experiencing grief to process their feelings at their own pace.

For those who need more in-depth support, our specialist counsellors offer a structured counselling service delivered by qualified, BACP-registered professionals.

This service is donation-based, £25 suggested session fee. Paying the session fee helps us continue supporting others, but if you’re unable to pay, support is still available to you.
