Wowee…..what another epic fantastic night in our lodge for the quiz night to raise funds for Nicky’s strictly come dancing for Highland Hospice. There was a full house with,even a team up the winding staircase, looking 👀 on. The total on the night was a staggering £1030.00, made up of entry’s, raffles and 100 squares for the big TLC teddy. The raffle was huge as is customary in our lodge, the teddy which was previously auctioned and donated back to the lodge has now raised £620.00 on its 2 outings and the bonus was…..the winner donated it back so it can continue on its fundraising journey. As usual these events don’t just happen….so a massive thanks to our brothers who freely gave up there time before during and after the event setting up, assisting, working the bar and tidying up after…….and Charlie please thank Iris for the sandwiches greatly appreciated. The money will go straight into the hospice which Nicky told us takes £1000.00 per patient per day to run, and it’s an 11 bed facility. Once again our lodge has made a difference….

Lodge Averon 866 looking absolutely stunning today for our open doors day…..we have had loads off visitors and everyone has left with a better understanding off the charitable work we do in our community. We are here till 4pm why not pop along for a look and as the questions

Lodge Averon held its annual old folks party on the 14th Feb in the bowling club, with music, dancers and the dancing. A few drams were had along with a snack or two and we even collected our guests and took them home afterwards. A fantastic effort by the brethren and our good lady’s of Lodge Averon. Here’s looking forward to next year!!
