Thanks to everyone who attended our fundraising ceilidh last week, organised by Donald Cowan.
The night was a resounding success and the 'Furry Boots' Ceilidh Band had a packed hall up and dancing all night.
The evening raised a grand figure of £1386.36 for Sauchie Public Hall.

Attached is the picture of the cheque presentation to Chairperson Mr Craig Miller and Trustees of Sauchie Public Hall
Donald said " It was great night and I would like to thank the Furry Boots Ceilidh Band, local pipers, everyone who generously donated raffle prizes and everyone who came along and made the night a great success.”

Can you spare a couple of hours a week (or even a month)?

Sauchie Public Hall is run by volunteers and 2026 looks like it’s going to be a busy year for the hall. We need more volunteers.

Please get in touch if you can help us out. Full training will be provided (and tea and biscuits).

TREE'S UPDATE: with permission from Clackmannanshire Council, four trees within the grounds of Sauchie Public Hall are due to be felled.

After inspection on the poor health and overgrown height of the trees, it was a joint agreement for the trees to be removed.

Knowing the history of the Hall and committee members reluctance to lose these iconic trees, it was a tough decision to make. But we have also agreed that for every one tree having to be brought down, Sauchie Public Hall SCIO will plant two others within an agreed location in Clackmannanshire.

The committee are also looking into the option of planting one other tree that will be located near the hall's main entrance, and could be used annually as a community Christmas Tree.

Happy new year from the committee members of Sauchie Public Hall. Thank you to all who came to bring in the bells with us. We hope you had a great night. The dance floor was bouncing and the atmosphere was amazing. Big shout out to those that helped make it a special night , Stacey Baird for dressing the hall and making it look great. The Royal oak for providing the bar, Kieran Fisher who was absolutely amazing, Michael and Donald for bringing some scottish tradition to the evening and Dave from Don Robertson discos for playing amazing tunes that kept the dance floor bouncing.
