Our STEM Club sessions have been worth every minute. The feedback from parents and kids alike keeps telling us one thing: do more. And honestly? Our kids can't wait to begin the new session either.

So here we go again, Stirling, Alloa and Falkirk! From 2nd November, we're running weekly STEM Club sessions packed with the same hands-on energy that's made this programme a firm favourite: robotics, coding, 3D design and printing, circuits, drones, Marble Lab, Magnetic Tiles, and more science and engineering fun than a weekday has any right to have. πŸ€–πŸ”§

Whether your child is building their first circuit, programming their first animation, or just loves getting their hands on something new every week, there's a place for them here. Ages 7-12.

πŸ“… Weekly, 2nd November - 14th December 2026

What an incredible session on Saturday! Our Future Makers travelled all the way back through Deep Time with Dr. Omar Rafael Regalado FernΓ‘ndez, Palaeontologist at the Senckenberg Natural History Museum, Frankfurt.

From Pangaea splitting apart to dinosaurs ruling the Mesozoic, from a 66-million-year-old mass extinction to a stunning 3D reconstruction of a dinosaur's head, our young explorers got a front-row seat into the world of real palaeontology.

Some of the mind-blowing things we learned:

🌌 Dinosaurs have been around for 243 million years

πŸŒ‹ A single mass extinction wiped out most dinosaurs 66 million years ago

πŸ—ΊοΈ Fossil evidence helped prove continents were once joined together (thanks, Alfred Wegener!)

πŸ›οΈ A peek inside the Senckenberg Museum and its incredible fossil collection

❓ A lively Q&A where our Future Makers got to ask Dr. Omar anything they wondered

A huge thank you to Dr. Omar for sharing his time, expertise, and passion for science with our community, and to every parent, student, and volunteer who made this session such a success! πŸ’«

This is exactly what Flosverse Future Makers is about: connecting young minds with real scientists and real-world STEM careers. More sessions like this are coming! πŸ‘€

Reflecting on a remarkable September at Flosverse Techsphere CIC.

This month, we ran weekly STEM Club sessions across Alloa, Stirling, and Falkirk, held an inspiring Mind and Media session, launched Pop In and Play, delivered our Wiki Loves Monuments Prep Session, and hosted Future Maker Launch Day, in partnership with the IDEA Network at the University of St Andrews and Electrical Safety First, celebrating our young ambassadors with Certificates of Recognition.

October is already shaping up to be just as busy:
Skype a Scientist, 3rd October, a live session with palaeontologist Dr Omar Rafael Regalado FernΓ‘ndez of the Senckenberg Natural History Museum

More exciting programmes to be announced soon

Thank you to everyone who made September possible. There's more to come.

Saturday's event was a great success! πŸŽ‰

From VR headsets and drone flying to magnetic tile towers and smiley-faced robots taking their first spins, the Old People's Community Hall was buzzing with curiosity all afternoon.

Alongside the fun and games, our Wiki Loves Monuments activities, in partnership with Wikimedia and the IDEA Network, gave young people and families a real introduction to open knowledge: how photography, research, and a little digital know-how can help preserve local heritage for the world to see.

And of course, our Electrical Safety App Launch gave everyone a first look at a tool that could genuinely help keep families safer at home.

Thank you to everyone who came out, and to our incredible volunteers and partners who made it all happen. This is what community looks like. πŸ’™

Can you see what they kids create?

Your child shouldn't miss this.

Your child shouldn't miss this.

Ever seen a marble run a kid actually designed themselves? 🎒

This Saturday, we're opening the doors to Pop In and Play, our newest space where children get to build, create, and imagine. Think a Marble Lab, a first go at 3D printing, magnetic tile towers, and VR that'll blow their little minds. No experience needed, just curiosity (and maybe a snack for after).
