All Stretton Village Hall AGM Tuesday 30th June 2026, 7pm.
Our Guest Speaker this year is Julie Cowley who many of you will know from her amazing work with the Strettons Area Community Wildlife Group. In her wonderfully titled talk, Helping Toad Cross the Road, Julie will be sharing plans to map all the ponds in the village helping us better understand where our frogs, toads and newts are living and moving.
The hall sits at the heart of village life. In the last couple of years we have enjoyed the sparkle of Abbattoir; the fun of our very own Stars In Their Eyes; the strange spectacle of Last Tango in All Stretton – and our very own BBC live broadcast. And, of course, the hall is home to All Stretton Amateur Dramatics Society and its historic annual pantomime! Regular offerings include Flicks in the Sticks, Village Lunches, Mobile Library Cafe, Scottish Dancing, Singing and Music Groups, Fitness Classes, Bridge Club, the W.I. and Sound Baths.
Our village hall runs on people – a large team of volunteers with a shared sense that this place matters – so please join us at our AGM. If you’ve got an idea for the hall, or would to get more involved, this is your moment! The management committee meets on the last Tuesday of each month (excluding August and December) and new voices are welcome. Whether you have big ideas or just a little spare time and a willingness to contribute, please come along and have a chat.
The hall keeps our community connected – the committee keeps the hall alive. Please join us at 7pm on Tuesday 30th June – and yes, there will be wine!
