Some of our lovely ladies went along to a great workshop organised by The National Association of Choirs where we were looking at how we learn new pieces. It was really useful to work through how we can see things like repeated patterns that can help stop up being daunted by lots of dots, lines and words when we get a new piece of music. Thank you to Liz Moulder - East Midlands NAC Chair for leading the workshop and to our own lovely Lorna who accompanied a very enjoyable and informative afternoon. 🎶🎵🎶

What a fabulous evening of song we enjoyed last night with our friends Rolls Royce Ladies Choir. There were so many great performances from a programme that we feel reflected the spirit of nurture, support and encouragement that is at the heart of this great charity and of both of the choirs. We will update on the fundraising as soon as the numbers are in but a massive thank you to everyone who supported the event, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did 🎶🎵🎶

Rather than the Eurovision - tonight’s the night for a fabulous evening of song at the PostMill Centre. We’re raising money, together with another great choir, Rolls Royce Ladies Choir, for a great local charity - Women’s Work. Final rehearsal last night before our fabulous concert on Saturday at Post Mill Centre, South Normanton with the amazing Rolls Royce Ladies Choir to raise funds for the charity Women’s Work. The first picture is whilst we were putting some finishing touches to Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy which was featured on BBC East Midlands Today last week as we celebrate our 90th year of singing and friendship. We would love to see you on Saturday - a great night for a great cause 🎶🎵🎶
