Newton WI formed in 1945, is a friendly team of ladies consisting of approx. 30 members and growing.

Meeting every third Wednesday of every month (apart from August) 6:30-9pm at Newton Methodist Church.

Tomorrow is our meeting and it's that time of year to pay the yearly subscription.
Payments by cheque, BACS and cash are all excepted.
£50 for 11 months meetings and the WI magazine.
We have interesting speakers, Raffle, tea/coffee and cake (at a small charge)🧁
Hope all of our current members can join and maybe see some new faces.

We have had the best afternoon at Newton primary school.
Judging the children's fantastic cake/biscuit creations. 🧁🍰🥮 and selling them.
All the children were lovely and a massive credit to the school and their parents 👏

Good afternoon everyone
This Wednesday will be our AGM.
We will be having a fund raising cream tea at a small charge of £3pp. Raising money for our chosen charity, Kidney UK.
Can members also remember to bring any small, bagged or wrapped, gifts for our Christmas stall.
Bring them to our AGM. All donations will be greatfully received.

Some pics of our fantastic 80th birthday party this evening.
Our beautiful birthday cake was made by Amy at Amys Bakes - Tibshelf, Derbyshire
We had brilliant entertainment from Johnny Victory who sang a 40s themed set
Would highly recommend both of the above ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We danced, we sang, we ate a yummy buffet from occasion foods at Sainsbury's and an amazing triffle provided by one of our lovely members, we quizzed, we raffled and all members went home with a party bag 🎉🥳🎁🎂
So ecstatic that we celebrated in style.
Thank you to everyone who came and those that helped out behind the scenes 🙌
