⭐️ VOLA Voices – Parent Council Update ⭐️
Thank you to everyone who attended last night’s meeting. It was great to have open and positive discussions, and we really appreciate all the input.
Here’s a quick overview of what was discussed:
📅 Feedback on the Parents’ Evening booking system, including issues experienced by some parents.
🧩 Discussion around office bearers and next steps toward formalising the Parent Council.
🍎 How the Primary teachers are settling in and the impact on our learners.
🚌 The possibility of a school trips calendar to help families plan and budget in advance.
We also chatted about young people with barriers to attending some trips.
🗣️ Student Council update and how student voice is going to be strengthened across all year groups.
🌱 Volunteering opportunities for our young people.
