Sad to announce the recent passing of much loved former teacher Ruth Twiss, who taught French and Spanish at Rose Hill for many years. Her funeral will take place at Easthampstead Park Crematorium, Bracknell, RG40 3DW on Monday 23rd March at 12:30pm. Please arrive 10-15 minutes ahead of the service, plenty of parking available.

Many thanks to the Old Rosehillians and the local Alderley residents who joined us at St Kenelm's last Friday evening for Candlelit Carols.

The collection raised £185 for Children's Hospice South West; mulled wine and mince pies were well-earned by a small (but perfectly formed) congregation who gave generously of their voices as well as their pockets!

The service was beautifully led by Rev Lesley Hewish and readers included Old Rosehillians from the 80s, 90s and 00s (many thanks to you all)

We're also very happy to be able to make donations from Society funds to the tune of £1000 to be shared between The Parish of St Kenelm's, Read With Me (Gloucestershire), Berkeley Community Library and The Keepers (Wotton Community Hub)

Just two weeks till the annual Carol Service at Alderley!

We still desperately need readers!

Hope to see lots of you there - this may well be the last one as I’m stepping down and the ORH funds are due to be paid out to various charities, closing the account (unless someone steps up to take on the co-ordination role)
