We are Alderholt Drama and Musical Club, a group of diverse amateur performers that produce and perform a yearly pantomime in the heart of a small village in the South of England. Our rehearsals tend to be every Wednesday and Friday from November up until our performance week, which is the first full week in February and consists of 4 performances (3 evening and 1 matinee). We hold read-through sessions on Wednesdays from the second week of September.

We had our first run through last night and what talent we have to showcase to you all at Alderholt Village Hall on Saturday 27th June.

From some old friends, some new ones, dancers and singers and even Dame F***y herself! It’s definitely going to be an entertaining night.

It’s said that there will even be a bar! You are welcome to bring a picnic with you as doors will be open from 6.30pm. Doors will open from 6.30pm, so you can settle grab a drink and have some food before the show starts at 7.30pm.

We have some very exciting news! Firstly we’d like to announce our 2027 pantomime, which is…

Robin Hood written by Tom Whalley. More information will follow soon enough.

But most importantly, we’d like to announce that our tickets for our one night only variety show are now on sale. We are hosting a 'bring your own picnic' evening. Which means that you are welcome to bring anything you may need for an indoor picnic; food, drinks, blankets, picnic chairs, etc. There will be drinks and ice-creams available at the bar before the performance and during the interval. We will also have chairs available if you do you not have any.

Doors will open from 6.30pm, so you can settle grab a drink and have some food before the show starts at 7.30pm.

Then you could take part in the Alderholt Variety Show on the 27th June at the village hall. Alderholt Drama and Musical club invite you to join in our variety show at the village hall!

Relaxed ‘auditions’ will be held at the beginning of June with a few rehearsals and run throughs later in the month.

You may recognise our most recent dame… Our Samuel is playing his dream role as Jack in RAODS ‘Into the Woods’ but this time he won’t be in a dress.

We have 3 tickets left for sale on the door this afternoon for our 2.30pm show. However we have lots available for our evening show.
