By unanimous decision from the carnival committee we have decided to more this years carnival to meet at top of Wanborough and travel down through the village hight street meeting up at the far end of the village. This is a strategic decision to help those in participating in this years procession find the walk a lot easier.

We hope you can support this decision with the carnivals new lease of life in Wanborough.

I would just like to apologise to anyone that turned up at 6.30 last night for our light switch on, our sing fun and dance event wasn't what we hoped for but those who did come, mostly very little people enjoyed there time, and thank you Kelly Sutton and her team, we all got down to the pond and by 6.20 the children were getting very cold so I decided to go early with the switch on, so apologise from us all, wishing you all a very merry Christmas, from all of the Carnival committee

Christmas is all about the children!
Don’t miss out on the fun – bring them down to Memorial Hall at 5:00 PM today for some Christmas cheer, dancing, and a singalong.
After the festivities, join us for the big switch-on of the village Christmas tree at the pond – a magical moment for the whole community!
Let’s make this Christmas unforgettable! Then when the village Christmas tree has been switch on why not head on up the the village green, where you can enjoy the light switch on of the Blue Boar Charity Christmas tree along with Aldbourne Band
