This time last week, we were arriving at Get In - Warwickshire Scouts Festival of Scouting at Ragley Hall! 🏕️✨

What an incredible weekend it was for everyone from 1st Alcester Scout Group.

133 young people joined thousands of Scouts from across Warwickshire for a weekend full of adventure, new experiences, friendship, and unforgettable memories. It was amazing to see so many of our Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts getting involved, challenging themselves, building confidence, and having such a fantastic time.

Weekends like this don’t happen without an incredible team behind the scenes. Over 20 leaders and more than 50 other adults volunteered their time throughout the weekend to support 1st Alcester — from preparing meals, transporting equipment, and pitching tents, to supporting activities and helping ensure our young people had the best experience possible.

A huge thank you to everyone who played a part in making the weekend happen — leaders, volunteers, organisers, parents, and supporters. Your time, energy, and dedication made it all possible. 💚

We’re already looking forward to the next adventure!

1st Alcester were delighted to host this year’s St George’s Day celebrations for West Warwickshire Scout District — and what a fantastic afternoon it was! Groups from across the district came together for a brilliant mix of activities, as well as a time for renewing our Scout promise.

With 2026 marking 75 years of West Warwickshire Scouts, Tina, who leads 1st Alcester United, created a wonderful display of memories and memorabilia. It was especially lovely to welcome back past members and celebrate together.

A huge thank you to Alcester Academy, Browns Food Stores, and Calgavin Ltd for their donations & support, and to our amazing leadership & trustee team whose dedication and extra effort made the day truly special.

Great weekend had by 1st Alcester Scouts at this year West Warwickshire Dovetrek hillwalking event in the Peak District! All the Scouts should be super proud of their achievements and well done to Patrol Alpha for coming home with this year’s trophy!
