First Aid is a key life skill for everyone, and it’s an important part of what we teach in Scouting.

A big thank you to Lyreco in Telford for donating 150 decommissioned first aid kits. These will be repurposed as training aids to help young people and adults learn essential life‑saving skills.

Young people from 1st Albrighton Scout Group and the District Lead Volunteer for Shropshire Severn & Teme met outside the 1st Albrighton HQ to receive the kits from members of the Lyreco team.

Thank you for supporting Scouting and helping us teach skills that save lives.💚

🌲 Adventure Day at Baggeridge Country Park! 🌲
Yesterday, our amazing Squirrel Scouts took on the Challenge Academy High Ropes Adventure!

After a quick picnic, they jumped straight into games focused on teamwork, leadership, and communication—showing maturity and resilience way beyond their years.

Next up: the obstacle course and the high ropes! 🧗‍♂️

Every single Squirrel attacked the challenge head-on, cheering each other on every step of the way. The leaders and parents were blown away by their determination. Seeing them face their fears up in the treetops with such courage was inspiring.

A huge shoutout to the three older Scouts who joined us to lead by example. They were magnificent, demonstrated true Scouting values, and were a massive support to our Squirrels. ⚜️

Well done, everyone. You were absolutely amazing! 👏👏
