Gala Dressage Demo Evening Tickets now on sale!!
Thursday 23rd July as part of the Cooke Coachbuilders CARNIVAL of DRESSAGE 2026 at Aintree International Equestrian Centre.
We like to do things with a bit of flamboyance at the Cooke Coachbuilders CARNIVAL OF DRESSAGE. We love to educate and entertain at the same time. So this year, rather than putting on one long master class we are putting on four fabulous individual demos for the price of one. With a shortened time in the arena, each of our presenters has been instructed to focus on the very best tips and info and provide you with maximum learning in a quick blast of schooling and info! A bit like Equestrian TED talks..
There's something for everyone and all levels, the sessions are:
Charlotte Wittbom Classical Dressage - Charlotte is known as one the very best classical and in-hand trainers in the UK and is much in demand for demos and training here and across Europe. Her knowledge of the masters is incredible and she never stops learning as demonstrated by her ongoing pod-cast interviews with the great and good of dressage. She will demonstrate her in-hand techniques and give many insights into why 'Pilates for horses' is good for all types of horses at all levels.
Porridge the Long Haired Lipizzaner and Sam Gorman BHSI - Sam is well known for her online presence, with Porridge being the star of her social media (and of course the newer kid on the block Big Ed), she is a riding trainer and her ability to move up the levels with her cobs is well respected. Currently heading to the Prix St. Georges Area Festivals with Sam on board, Porridge is looking forward to showing us his skills whilst Sam gives us her best tips on training cobs for success in the Dressage Arena.
Kate Hamilton FBHS - the late, great Stephen Clarke called me early this year and said that I have to invite Kate to take part in my events, he emailed me her CV and wow, she has such a massive wealth for experience and knowledge. I can't list her achievements here as it would be a lengthy essay, it's easier to say that Kate has an all round holistic knowledge of caring for, training, competing and educating both horses and riders from around the world. She will present to us on some easy ways to gain extra marks in dressage tests, some thing we would all love to know!
Theo Charnley (and his Dad Paul doing the talking) with RSPCA George - Winners of Carnival of Dressage Championships as part of their 26 dressage championships wins , Theo and George won the equestrian nations hearts with their amazing tests and scores, both at such a young age. Theo broke and trained George himself and rather the break up the partnership when he began to outgrow him, he trained him to drive instead, winning a National title in their first year. Now they return to the Carnival of Dressage to show and educate us about the Dressage phase of Carriage Driving, oh and they return having recently won an FEI International Carriage Driving Championship!
So message your friends, get your tickets and get along to the Fabulous Four Gala Dressage Demo - an Original Evening for all dressage fans!
