A little late posting this due to practice
ππ Good Luck to Our Senior Lines at Champs ππ
What a season it has been for both of our Senior lines.
It certainly didn't start the way we had planned. With four pregnancies across the team, injuries, dancers leaving, and plenty of challenges thrown our way, there were moments when it felt like the odds were against us. But if there's one thing this season has shown, it's just how resilient every single one of you are.
Senior 1, at the start of the year those placings felt a long way off. But week after week, through hard work, determination and a real shift in mindset, you've dug deep and started pulling those results in. Watching your confidence grow and seeing you believe in yourselves has been incredible.
Senior 2, you've probably been hit the hardest. Between pregnancies, dancers moving on, Tinies stepping up, Junior doubles helping out, and even me filling in when needed, it's been a season of adapting and overcoming. Yet somehow, every challenge has only made you stronger. You've stuck together, kept pushing forward and seen the season through with real grit and commitment.
As individuals, every one of you has improved in your own way. Whether it's confidence, technique, performance or determination, you've all grown, and that is something to be immensely proud of.
This weekend, I know both lines will bring the same determination, drive and fighting spirit to the dance floor that I've seen in practice over these last few weeks. Whatever happens, remember how far you've come and everything you've already achieved.
This weekend is also a particularly emotional one as we see the Senior Leader baton handed over. After 10 incredible years, Shelley is stepping down. Thank you for everything you have given to the team, your dedication, leadership, friendship and commitment. You have been the heart of this line for so many years π₯Ήβ€οΈ
I am absolutely gutted that I won't be sharing the dance floor with you all at Champs this year. Instead, I'll be cheering louder than anyone from the sidelines, feeling incredibly proud of every single one of you and of the journey you've been on from where you started to where you are now.
So, good luck in Blackpool this weekend.
Dance with pride. Dance for each other. Leave everything on that floor.
Most importantly, enjoy every second. β€οΈ
