AGM time at Admaston House , Monday 1st June, 7.30pm.

We’re sharing this on behalf of the trustees because this community centre is a gem, and it only stays that way when locals get involved.

If you enjoy our SASA Chattery every Wednesday, use the centre for other clubs and groups, or simply want to see it continue to thrive, come along and have your say.
Let’s show our support for the people who keep this brilliant space going.

What a night!
A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Quiz Night last Friday at Allscott Sports Club. We had a fantastic turnout and such a lovely atmosphere.

Massive appreciation to our amazing SASA volunteers and to our quiz master, Allan, for keeping us all entertained and on our toes.

Together we raised just over £470 for the Lingen Davies Sunflower Appeal through entry fees and the raffle.
Community spirit at its best 🌻💛💛

✨ Live music at the cafe tomorrow between 12 and 1pm ✨
The Ramblers Wellbeing walk will be heading off at 10am so the cafe is always nice and quiet from then until 11am. If you are looking for a quiet friendly space, that is the best time to join us.
Looking forward to seeing you there ☕️🫖🍰🧁

We’ve had some fantastic teams register already for our Friday 15th May Quiz Night at Allscott Sports Club, but there’s still space if you’d like to join us.

The Sunflower Appeal is raising funds for a much needed cancer centre at the Princess Royal so, it’s a great chance to support a local charity. So, come along, enjoy a relaxed evening, and maybe even walk away with a raffle prize.

Grab a table, bring your people, and let’s make it a full house!

Thank you to everyone that joined our wellbeing walk this morning, to everyone who came along to the cafe and to those of you who joined in with the Love to Move programme.

There were a few people who wanted to do it but didn’t have the time this week, so we have decided to run it again next week. Please feel free to bring to friends and family along. The programme was originally designed with adults in mind, but children will easily be able to join in if they would like to.

We look forward to seeing you all next Wednesday for some more fun, fitness and laughter.

Who says kids get to have all the fun?
Tomorrow, we are reclaiming the joy of getting our hands dirty! 🎨✨

Join us at The Chattery Cafe (Admaston House) for an hour of pure, unadulterated Adult Messy Play. No rules, no "perfect" results, just exploration.

The Details

📅 When: Tomorrow, Wednesday, April 15th

🕛 Time: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

📍 Where: The Chattery Cafe, Admaston House

Why Messy Play isn't "Just for Kids"

In a world that expects adults to be polished, productive, and "put together" 24/7, messy play is a radical act of self-care. Here’s why you should come get stuck in:

Stress Detox: Squeezing, splashing, and tactile exploration lowers cortisol levels. It’s essentially a reset button for your nervous system.

Mindfulness in Motion: It’s hard to worry about your "to-do" list when you’re focused on the texture of sand, clay, or paint. It grounds you in the present moment.

Creative Freedom: Most of us stopped playing because we were afraid of making a mistake. Messy play is about the process, not the product. There is no "wrong" way to do it.

Brain Power: Sensory play builds new neural pathways and improves problem-solving skills—all while you're having a laugh.

Whether you’re looking to destress during your lunch break or just want to feel like a kid again for sixty minutes, we’ve got a spot (and some mess) waiting for you.

Grab a coffee, roll up your sleeves, and come get messy! ☕🖌️

Admaston Juniors Under‑11s Cup Finalists! ⚽💚

Huge congratulations to the Admaston Juniors U11s, who reached their first ever cup final this season. What an achievement for this fantastic group of local youngsters.

We’re incredibly proud to have sponsored their strip through SASA Wellbeing Hub and, even more proud of the teamwork and determination they’ve shown all year.

The result might not have gone their way, but in our eyes they’re absolute champions for getting so far, giving it everything, and representing our community with such spirit.

Well done, team , you’ve done Admaston proud! 🌟

✨✨Trustee & Volunteer Update ✨✨

A big well done to our trustees and our wonderful Chattery volunteers who’ve completed the latest SASA session of Lingen Davies Cancer Champions training.

The training helps people spread awareness about spotting early signs of cancer, share reliable information, and encourage others to seek help sooner — simple skills that make a real difference in our community.

Thank you to everyone who took part 💛🌿
