Meet Kavish, who is 6 years old. He has two younger sisters who will come to Nambikkai Illam soon.

Their early home life was terrible; the three siblings suffered with the lost of a parent and subsequent neglect.

Where would Kavish be now if it wasn't for Faith Welfare Trust and your donations?
The list of disastrous alternatives is very much real and happens on a daily basis to millions of children who fall through the net. However, Kavish and his sisters will have a future of hope ahead of them; with unconditional love, support, teaching and education to help him to succeed.

News just in that Thanisha who grew up in the girls home, has successfully graduated! She has achieved a Bachelors of Arts in English.

Here she is with Chandra and Sumathi on her graduation. A massive congratulations to you Thanisha.

Your donations not only supports the Homes and the School but it also provides financial assistance to those in higher education.

Can you do any more?

We know that many of you support FWT financially but also in prayer and we are thankful for both, but do you ever wonder if you can do more?

Could you raise awareness by chatting to your neighbour about FWT or passing on the yearly newsletter to friends? Could you run a boot sale after the annual spring clean? If you like jogging, could you do a sponsored race? Or perhaps host an event like the Pollock's Burns Supper, where they had an evening of all things Scottish with many generous donations given to FWT.

A new veranda has been built at Vengadu for the boys. You'll likely agree that it's quite a construction! The old veranda was less than a 1/3 of the size, so this will make a massive change to the home.

The veranda not only provides shelter from the monsoon rains but most importantly much needed shade in the summer months.

Sumathi, who is co-warden and Chandra's wife - recently received a donation from a friend to help cover some of the cost of the build, and as ever we are thankful for all donations received to make the homes, school and lives of these children better.
