Poolewe Village Hall

Poolewe Village Hall Poolewe Village Hall is a busy community hall used by a wide range of individuals & groups for anyth

The hall is a great asset to the area and is used by a wide range of individuals and groups for anything from weddings to youth clubs. It is the perfect affordable venue for your event - large or small. The new hall was officially opened in 2004 after years of making do in the old village hall, which did sterling service and hosted many a memorable event, a lot of hard work and fundraising by Pool

ewe villagers resulted in the transformation of the old hall into the excellent building we now have. The main hall has a stage if required and is ideal for ceilidhs, parties, weddings, sales and sports groups. The Mary Buchanan Room is suited to smaller groups, talks, workshops and meetings. A fully equipped kitchen is also available to all hall users. The Hall also has two self contained units which are currently let to small businesses. Bookings can be made for regular activities or for a single event and are on a first come first served basis. Units are advertised locally whenever they become available. Tables, chairs, stage and items of crockery are also available for hire. All bookings and enquiries should be made to Alison Rushbrooke, our bookings clerk, at 07900602765 or via email to [email protected]

Bagged and binned!

Hector (7) noticed the litter that had been swirling around in the wind in the village of Poolewe for a few weeks and decided to do something about it.

His initiative was rewarded with a request for help which he has been only too happy to assist with!

If his effort inspires you, share the post and get in touch with your own feelgood community stories.
